It is with great excitement that I write this letter of introduction as the new President and CEO of Valley Federal Credit Union. I couldn’t be prouder to have been given the opportunity to lead an organization with such an extremely dedicated staff, amazing members, and supportive board of directors. I am excited to unite my experience, my openness to learn, and my growth mindset approach to support our members.
The year 2023 marks my 35th year of experience in the Credit Union industry with 26 of those years being at Valley Federal Credit Union. I have had the pleasure of serving the Credit Union in multiple capacities as teller supervisor, Vice President of Member Services and Lending, and Executive Vice President. My educational background includes an Associate Degree of Business Administration and Management from The University of Texas at Brownsville, and I am a graduate from CUNA Management School.
In closing, please know my door is always open to you. I sincerely welcome your conversation and positive input throughout the year as we continue to keep our members as the primary focus of our work. The Valley Federal Credit Union management team is working together to make for a smooth transition during this time, and we look forward to celebrating our collective successes throughout the years to come.
